📚 Contexto Histórico
This verse comes during Israel's time in the wilderness after leaving Egypt, when God was establishing the priesthood and temple service system. The Levites were one of the twelve tribes of Israel, descended from Levi (one of Jacob's sons), and God chose them to replace the firstborn of all Israel in serving Him at the tabernacle. This separation ceremony was part of their consecration to handle the sacred duties of worship and care for the tabernacle.
