📚 Contexto Histórico
This verse comes at the end of God's instructions to the Israelites about conquering the Promised Land and driving out its inhabitants. God had just warned them that if they failed to completely remove the pagan nations, those remaining people would become thorns in their sides and cause ongoing trouble. This final warning makes clear that disobedience would result in Israel experiencing the same destruction God had intended for the Canaanite nations.
