📚 Contexto Histórico
This occurs during Israel's journey to the Promised Land, after they had defeated the Amorite kings east of the Jordan River. The tribes of Reuben and Gad had become wealthy in livestock during their time in the wilderness and were looking for suitable grazing land. These lands (Jazer and Gilead) were located east of the Jordan River, outside the original boundaries of the Promised Land that God had designated for Israel.
