📚 Contexto Histórico
This occurs near the end of Moses' life, after leading Israel through 40 years in the wilderness. Because Moses had disobeyed God at the waters of Meribah by striking the rock instead of speaking to it, God told him he would not enter the Promised Land. Mount Abarim (which includes Mount Nebo) overlooks the Jordan River and the land of Canaan.
