So shall ye know that I am the LORD your God dwelling in Zion, my holy mountain: then shall Jerusalem be holy, and there shall no strangers pass through her any more.
In the Book of Joel, the prophet addresses the people of Judah during a time of devastation, possibly from locusts or invading armies, foretelling God's judgment on nations that have harmed His people and promising their restoration. This verse specifically envisions a future day of the Lord when God will reclaim Zion, His holy mountain in Jerusalem, as a place of purity and security. It reflects the broader biblical narrative of God's covenant faithfulness to Israel amid historical conflicts.
