📚 Contexto Histórico
This prophecy was given during the final years of the kingdom of Judah, around 600 BC, when corruption had spread throughout all levels of society. Even the prophets and priests, who were supposed to guide people spiritually, had become motivated by greed rather than faithfulness to God. Jeremiah was warning that foreign invaders would soon conquer the land and take everything the people possessed.
