📚 Contexto Histórico
This took place around 605 BC during the reign of King Jehoiakim of Judah, when Jeremiah was banned from entering the temple. Since he couldn't deliver God's messages in person, he used his faithful scribe Baruch to record and later read the prophecies publicly. Writing on scrolls (rolls of papyrus or parchment) was the standard method of recording important documents in ancient times.
