📚 Contexto Histórico
This promise was given to King Hezekiah of Judah around 701 BC when the powerful Assyrian Empire under King Sennacherib was threatening to destroy Jerusalem. The Assyrians had already conquered the northern kingdom of Israel and were now besieging Jerusalem, demanding surrender. God gave this promise through the prophet Isaiah as part of His response to Hezekiah's prayer for deliverance.
