This occurs during the famous parting of the Red Sea, when Moses led the Israelites out of Egypt after 400 years of slavery. Pharaoh had changed his mind about letting them go and sent his army to bring them back. God miraculously parted the waters for the Israelites to cross safely, but when the Egyptian army followed, the waters crashed down upon them.
