Now I Nebuchadnezzar praise and extol and honour the King of heaven, all whose works are truth, and his ways judgment: and those that walk in pride he is able to abase.
In the Book of Daniel, King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon experienced a prophetic dream about a great tree being cut down, which symbolized his own pride and the judgment that would follow. As a result, God humbled him by allowing him to lose his sanity for seven years, during which he lived like an animal in the wilderness. Upon his restoration, Nebuchadnezzar acknowledged God's sovereignty and praised Him, as recorded in this verse.
