📚 Contexto Histórico
This verse describes the immediate aftermath of Israel's division into two kingdoms around 930 BC. After Solomon's death, his son Rehoboam's harsh policies caused ten northern tribes to rebel and crown Jeroboam as their king, while Rehoboam retained control only over Judah and Benjamin in the south. Rehoboam's military response shows his refusal to accept this division peacefully.
