📚 Contexto Histórico
This occurred around 597 BC during the final collapse of the kingdom of Judah. Jehoiachin became king after his father Jehoiakim died, but his reign was cut short when the Babylonian king Nebuchadnezzar besieged Jerusalem and took him captive to Babylon. Despite his young age, he continued the pattern of unfaithfulness to God that had characterized Judah's kings.
