📚 Contexto Histórico

In the biblical narrative, King Uzziah of Judah ruled successfully for many years, achieving military victories and prosperity that strengthened his kingdom. However, he overstepped his authority by entering the Temple to burn incense, a role reserved only for priests, which provoked God's judgment and resulted in him being struck with leprosy. As a consequence, Uzziah was forced to live in isolation, separated from the community and the house of the Lord, while his son Jotham took over the daily administration of the kingdom.
