This is King Abijah of Judah speaking to the army of Israel before a major battle around 913 BC. The kingdom had split into northern Israel and southern Judah after Solomon's death, and they were now fighting each other. Abijah was trying to convince the northern kingdom that they were fighting against God himself by attacking Judah.
