📚 Contexto Histórico
In the biblical narrative, David had recently been established as king over all Israel and was working to consolidate his rule by bringing the Ark of the Covenant to Jerusalem, which would become the nation's spiritual center. The Ark, a sacred chest symbolizing God's presence among His people, had been kept in Baale of Judah (also known as Kiriath Jearim) since it was returned by the Philistines after their defeat. This event highlights David's desire to honor God and foster national unity through proper worship.
