📚 Contexto Histórico
In the divided kingdom of Israel and Judah, Joram was the king of Israel, a successor to the wicked Ahab, whose family had committed grave sins including the murder of Naboth to seize his vineyard, as foretold by the prophet Elijah. God had commanded Jehu to be anointed as king to execute divine judgment on Ahab's house for their idolatry and injustices. When Joram and Ahaziah, the king of Judah, went out to confront Jehu, they met him in the very field that once belonged to Naboth, highlighting the fulfillment of God's prophetic warnings.
