This was the prophet Elisha speaking to his terrified servant when they woke up to find the Syrian army surrounding their city of Dothan. The Syrians had come to capture Elisha because he kept warning Israel's king about their military plans. Elisha's servant could only see the overwhelming enemy forces, but Elisha could see God's spiritual army of horses and chariots of fire protecting them.
