This verse occurs in the story of Naaman's healing from leprosy by the prophet Elisha. After Elisha refused payment for the miracle, his servant Gehazi secretly pursued Naaman and lied to obtain silver and clothing. Gehazi then hid these ill-gotten gains at a fortified place (the tower/hill) before returning to face Elisha.
