📚 Contexto Histórico
This is part of God's response to King David's desire to build a permanent temple for the Lord in Jerusalem. David had brought the Ark of the Covenant to Jerusalem and wanted to replace the temporary tent (tabernacle) with a magnificent temple. God acknowledged David's good intentions but designated his son Solomon to be the temple builder instead, partly because David had been a man of war.
