📚 Contexto Histórico
In the history of Judah, after Queen Athaliah seized the throne by killing the royal heirs, the high priest Jehoiada protected the young prince Joash and secretly raised him in the temple for six years. Jehoiada then rallied the military leaders, nobles, and people to overthrow Athaliah in a carefully planned coup, restoring the Davidic line. This verse depicts the final step of that restoration, as they escorted Joash from the temple through the high gate to the palace and placed him on the throne.
