This was King Huram's response to Solomon's request for help building the temple around 970 BC. Huram (also called Hiram) ruled the wealthy trading city of Tyre and had been an ally of Solomon's father David. It's remarkable that this foreign king acknowledged the God of Israel as the one who appointed Solomon.
