📚 Contexto Histórico
In the Bible, after King Solomon died, his son Rehoboam became king over the united kingdom of Israel. However, the northern tribes rebelled against Rehoboam's harsh rule and established their own separate kingdom under Jeroboam, leading to a permanent division between Israel in the north and Judah in the south. Rehoboam then assembled a large army from the tribes of Judah and Benjamin to attempt to reclaim the northern territories by force.
