This is part of Solomon's prayer at the dedication of the newly built temple in Jerusalem. After years of wandering and warfare, Israel had finally found peace in the Promised Land under Solomon's reign. Solomon is acknowledging that this peace and prosperity fulfills the promises God made to Moses centuries earlier when he led Israel out of Egypt.
