📚 Contexto Histórico
This was during the period when Israel was divided into two kingdoms - Israel in the north and Judah in the south. Elah was the second king in what would become a very short-lived dynasty, following his father Baasha who had previously overthrown the royal family. Tirzah served as the capital of the northern kingdom of Israel before Samaria was built.
