📚 Contexto Histórico
This verse comes during God's judgment on Solomon for his idolatry and disobedience. God was announcing through the prophet Ahijah that the kingdom would be torn away from Solomon's family, but He promised to leave one tribe (Judah) under his son's rule. This was part of God's covenant promise to David that his descendants would always have a throne in Jerusalem.
