📚 Contexto Histórico
In the historical narrative of 1 Chronicles, King David had sinned by ordering a census of Israel, which was seen as a lack of trust in God and resulted in a severe plague as divine judgment. To atone and stop the plague, David was instructed by the prophet Gad to purchase a threshing floor and build an altar there for sacrifices. When David offered burnt offerings and peace offerings, God miraculously responded with fire from heaven, signifying acceptance and the end of the plague.
