📚 Contexto Histórico
This instruction was given by the prophet Samuel to Saul shortly after Saul was anointed as Israel's first king. Gilgal was a significant religious site where the Israelites had first camped after crossing the Jordan River into the Promised Land. Samuel, as both prophet and priest, maintained authority over religious matters even as Saul assumed political leadership.
