And thou shalt do according to the sentence, which they of that place which the LORD shall choose shall shew thee; and thou shalt observe to do according to all that they inform thee:
You must follow the decision that the people in the place the LORD chooses will give you. You must carefully do everything they tell you to do.
This verse is instructing people to follow the legal decisions made by the judges and priests at God's chosen place of worship.
📚 Historical Context
This verse comes from Moses' instructions about establishing a justice system in the Promised Land. When local judges couldn't decide difficult cases, they were to bring them to the central sanctuary where Levitical priests and judges would make final decisions. This created a supreme court system with religious leaders at God's chosen worship site (later Jerusalem) having the final authority in legal matters.
