Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime.
When Daniel found out the law was officially signed, he went straight home. He opened his bedroom windows facing Jerusalem, got down on his knees, and prayed three times a day just like he always did, thanking God and talking to him like nothing had changed.
