Day 1

The Love Chapter

1 Corinthians 13:4-7
Clear, easy-to-understand.
Love is patient and kind. It doesn't envy or brag. It's not arrogant or rude. It doesn't insist on getting its own way. It's not easily angered and doesn't keep score of wrongs. Love puts up with everything, trusts always, hopes always, and never gives up.

Which aspect of love do you struggle with most?

Real love isn't a feeling β€” it's a list of actions.

Day 2

Love One Another

John 13:34-35
Clear, easy-to-understand.
Jesus said: I'm giving you a new rule β€” love each other the way I've loved you. That's how everyone will know you follow me β€” by the love you show each other.

How well does your love for others advertise your faith?

Your love for others is the world's proof of your faith.

Day 3

Sacrificial Love

John 15:13
Clear, easy-to-understand.
The greatest love anyone can show is giving up their life for their friends.

What are you willing to sacrifice for the people you love?

Love's highest expression is sacrifice.

Day 4

Love Your Enemies

Matthew 5:44
Clear, easy-to-understand.
But here's what I say: Love your enemies. Bless people who curse you. Do good things for people who hate you. Pray for people who mistreat you and persecute you.

Who is the hardest person for you to love right now?

Loving people who deserve it is easy β€” loving enemies is divine.

Day 5

God Is Love

1 John 4:7-8
Clear, easy-to-understand.
Dear friends, let us love each other, because love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. If you don't love, you don't know God β€” because God IS love.

If God is love, what does your capacity to love reveal about your relationship with God?

Knowing God and loving people aren't separate things β€” they're the same thing.
