Facing Fear with Faith

Courage isn't the absence of fear — it's trusting God through it.

Day 1

Do Not Be Afraid

Joshua 1:9
Clear, easy-to-understand.
God said: Didn't I tell you? Be strong and courageous! Don't be afraid, don't be discouraged — because I, the Lord your God, am with you everywhere you go.

What's the biggest fear you're facing right now?

Courage isn't feeling no fear — it's moving forward anyway because God is with you.

Day 2

Perfect Love Casts Out Fear

1 John 4:18
Clear, easy-to-understand.
Where there's real love, there's no room for fear. Perfect love kicks fear out completely, because fear involves punishment. If you're still afraid, you haven't fully experienced love yet.

How could experiencing God's love reduce your fear?

The more you know God's love, the less power fear has.

Day 3

God Is My Light

Psalm 27:1
Clear, easy-to-understand.
God is my light and my rescue — who should I be scared of? God is the strength of my entire life — who could threaten me?

If God is truly your strength, what changes about your fears?

When God is your shield, the threat list gets very short.

Day 4

Protected and Kept

2 Timothy 1:7
Clear, easy-to-understand.
God didn't give you a spirit of fear. He gave you power, love, and a clear, strong mind.

Which do you need most today — power, love, or a clear mind?

Fear isn't from God — power is.

Day 5

Walking Through Fire

Isaiah 43:2
Clear, easy-to-understand.
When you go through deep waters, I'll be right there with you. When rivers try to sweep you away, they won't succeed. When you walk through fire, you won't be burned.

What 'fire' are you walking through that God is walking through with you?

The fire is real — but so is God's presence in it.
