When he therefore was come up again, and had broken bread, and eaten, and talked a long while, even till break of day, so he departed.
So Paul went back upstairs, broke bread with everyone, ate together, and kept talking with them until sunrise. Then he finally left.
Sometimes the best conversations happen when you lose track of time and talk until dawn.
📚 Historical Context
In the biblical narrative, Paul was visiting Troas during his third missionary journey, where he preached extensively to a gathered group of believers. During this late-night meeting, a young man named Eutychus fell asleep, tumbled from a window, and died, but Paul miraculously brought him back to life through God's power. Following this event, Paul and the believers shared a meal, likely the Lord's Supper, and continued their fellowship and conversation until dawn.
