Whiles by the experiment of this ministration they glorify God for your professed subjection unto the gospel of Christ, and for your liberal distribution unto them, and unto all men;
When they see how you're actually living out what you say you believe, they're going to praise God. They'll see your genuine commitment to following Christ and how generously you share with them and everyone else.
Your actions prove your faith, and when people see that authenticity, it points them straight to God.
📚 Historical Context
In the first century, the Apostle Paul was writing to the Corinthian church to encourage their participation in a collection for the impoverished believers in Jerusalem, who were suffering from famine and economic hardship. This financial support was a way for Gentile Christians to express solidarity with Jewish believers, demonstrating obedience to the Gospel and fostering unity in the early church. Through this, Paul emphasized how such acts of generosity would lead others to glorify God by witnessing the Corinthians' faithful commitment.
