⚡ THE BOTTOM LINE

David is encouraging his son Solomon to be courageous in building God's temple, promising that God will never abandon him until the work is finished.

📚 Historical Context

This was David's final charge to Solomon before his death, as he passed on the responsibility of building the temple in Jerusalem. David had gathered all the materials and made detailed plans, but God had told him that his son would be the one to actually construct the temple. This moment represents the transition of leadership and the fulfillment of God's promise that Solomon would build His house.
